Erin Guiltner grew up in a very musical family. She studied
violin as a young child, then tried the clarinet, before finally
settling on the flute as her primary instrument. She earned a
Bachelor of Music degree with a major in Flute Performance from
Oklahoma City University. In college she also studied piano,
saxophone, voice, dance and acting.
Erin loves both music and working with young children, so for her
Kindermusik was a natural fit. She has taught Kindermusik for 7
years now, having previously taught music at a private school and
working as a writer and actor with Act One Drama Company. Until recently relocating to Norman, OK, she played
flute and piccolo with the Space Coast Flute Orchestra in Melbourne,
FL. In
addition to teaching Kindermusik, Erin serves as the Children's Minister at New Life Bible Church in Norman. Erin and her husband Clayton are the proud parents of Weston Luke Guiltner who went to heaven last September.
